Free software for viewing and writing Universal Hint System files.
There are no required coding standards, but contributions are acceptable.

Non-text content isn't part of the program, but some UHS files might include them. Large print, braille, etc is a setting in the terminal emulator; FreeUHS does not itself need to worry about it.
The webpage is accessible in Lynx; it is tested. It works even without CSS and JavaScripts. The npm download is a command-line program does not need a webpage.
Currently it is only in English. Non-English versions may be written if wanted.
